Hans folsgaard a/s is a 100 years old trading company based on activities within power utility companies, industry and communication industry.

In scandinavia there is a boost in ftth project most based on the initiative from the power utility companies; app.20 companies all using either a e/gpon system or rarely a pon system.

We are right now supplying components to these networks - mainly passive components but we have been asked from customer side as if we have any plans to enter this markets with active equipment, cpe unit etc.

We not that the market is very large and that there is a demand for these cpe units as well as the natwork management systems.

The markets in dk is dominated by cisco (gpon & epon) & notel (pon from eci) for the backbone and the cpe box is mainly a media converter in the low cost end with a setop box from.
